Young Fathers unveil new single ‘Soon Come Soon’
Hip-hop trio follow Mercury triumph.

After they scooped the Mercury Prize for their debut album ‘Dead’, Young Fathers might have been expected to rest on their laurels. Instead, they’ve done the opposite, unveiling a storming new single, ‘Soon Come Soon’, via Soundcloud earlier today.
Now available to download, the track’s electronic pitter-patter and smooth harmonies combine to create a bewitching sound similar to the one first forged on ‘Dead’.
It’s not all good news, however. Currently afflicted by illness, they’ve recently been forced to postpone several gigs on their European tour, pulling out of a handful of Russian dates last week and a Dresden show scheduled for tomorrow evening.
Recovery permitting, the band will cap off an impressive year with a slot at Brighton’s forthcoming Drill Festival (4th-7th Dec) and a headline show at XOYO on 10th December.
