Picking up where they left off, British Hardcore poster boys Gallows are back once more.
‘The Vulture (Act II)’ is the first track lifted from their eagerly anticipated second album release ‘Grey Britain’. From the second the song starts, it’s a straight right hook to the face. Again crunching guitars play heavy in the sound of Gallows, but nothing here is far off what you hear on their debut. By no means is this a bad thing, if it aint broke… don’t fix it. The one progression from their pervious offerings is the harsher toned voice found in Frank Carter.
It’s obvious the boys know what works, let’s just hope that the other releases that come from ‘Grey Britain’ keep the name of Gallows flying high in a genre that is lead by our brothers and sisters across the pond.
