Manic Street Preachers, Future of the Left and Joanna Gruesome have also been shortlisted.
The nominees for this year’s Welsh Music Prize have been revealed - with Cate Le Bon, Gruff Rhys and Joanna Gruesome among the artists included in the 12-strong list.
They’re joined by some familiar names - Manic Street Preachers, Future of the Left and Euros Childs - and also The People The Poet, Slowly Rolling Camera and 9Bach.
Plus, mathy trio Samoans - who played this weekend’s Dr. Martens #STANDFORSOMETHING Tour in association with DIY date in Cardiff - are also nominated for their album, ‘Rescue’.
