The Vaccines return with new single, ‘Handsome’

The Vaccines have unveiled a new track, ‘Handsome’, the first taste of their forthcoming third album, ‘English Graffiti’.

Having just premiered on Zane Lowe’s Radio 1 show as a Hottest Record, the song’s arrived alongside a surreal video, showing the four-piece being kidnapped by aliens before being made to partake in their messed up rituals (karate is a particular preference).

On the new video, frontman Justin Young said. “We wanted to create a video that was a sort of bubblegum ode to cinema and, in particular, Hong Kong kung fu movies.”

‘Handsome’ is due out as a 7” single, 9th March 2015, alongside b-side ‘Handsome Reimagined’ (Dave Fridmann edit).

The Vaccines have been recording their new album with Dave Fridmann at the producer’s Tarbox Road Studio, New York. It’s self-produced, with assistance from Fridmann and Cole MGN.
