Anna Calvi and Nick Mulvey join Mercury Prize 2015 judging panel
Previous nominees are part of a 12-person panel.
Previous Mercury Prize nominees Anna Calvi and Nick Mulvey have joined the panel deciding on this year’s award.
Calvi has been nominated twice for the prize, while Mulvey received a nomination for his 2014 album ‘First Mind’.
Both musicians art part of a 12-person judging panel, which also includes Corinne Bailey Rae and broadcaster John Kennedy.
Nominees for this year’s Mercury Prize are announced on Friday 16th October via Lauren Laverne’s BBC Radio 6 Music show. The winner’s ceremony will take place on 20th November at London’s Radio Theatre, Broadcasting House, and it’ll be aired live on the BBC.
