Gulp get dreamy on new single ‘Search For Your Love’

Lindsey Leven and Super Furry Animals’ Guto Pryce – better known as Gulp – have unveiled a brand new single, two years after the release of their last album ‘Season Sun’.

‘Search For Your Love’, which is out now on Tim Burgess’ label O Genesis, is a bit of a taster of what you might expect from their upcoming second album, due out sometime in 2017. It’s a cosmic quest undertaken through the medium of vintage, reverberating synths and pulsating bass, which is just made all the more ethereal by Lindsey’s cut up, looping voice on the chorus.

If it all seems pretty dreamy, there’s a reason for that. Lindsey said: “I get really vivid dreams and often wake up with tunes or stories in my head and lyrically this is one of those - it’s a timeless love story really, but nods towards an eager search for love and empathy in an increasingly surreal and chaotic world.”
