Toro Y Moi announces new album, streams ‘Empty Nesters’
Slick, organic lead track is taken from ‘What For?’, out this April.
Chaz Bundick aka Toro Y Moi has announced plans to release a new album, ‘What For?’.
Out 6th April on Carpark Records, it follows on from 2013 LP ‘Anything in Return’. Lead track ‘Empty Nesters’ recalls late ‘60s psychedelia, stepping completely free from the heady electronics of previous records.
It’s also a long way from ‘Michael’, Bundick’s last album under the Les Sins moniker. That came out on his own Company Records label - this year he’s putting out the debut LP from Keath Mead, with DIY streaming the lead track.
