Kanye West to perform ‘808s & Heartbreak’ in full at L.A. show
Hollywood Bowl will host Yeezy in September.
Kanye West has come a long way from his ‘808s & Heartbreak’ album, but seven years on Yeezy is set to perform the release in full at a one-off show.
The release is getting a performance of its own on Friday 25th September at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl. Since the LP, Kanye’s released his standard-bearer (‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’) and the game-changing ‘Yeezus’. But ‘808s…’ was arguably just as revolutionary, flipping autotune hate on its head with effect-glossed pop. Who knows, maybe Mr. Hudson will be joining the ride too.
This weekend, Kanye receives the MTV VMAs Video Vanguard Award.
