Here we go again
The xx share another 55 seconds of mysterious new music
All aboard the hype train - next stop, LP3.
The xx are at it again - they’ve shared another 55 seconds of mysterious new music.
This time around, the clip features a manipulated male voice, and some very choral sounding echoes. Listen to it below. It follows the release of their first teaser, reflecting that track’s muted arrival too - uploaded to the band’s in-the-studio Spotify playlist with no warning, and lacking in any identifying information bar being attributed to the xx’s longtime label Young Turks. You snooze, you lose, though - that first one’s gone now.
The xx head out on their first tour in two years later this month. Catch up with DIY’s Jamie xx cover feature, from last year’s June issue.
