In the magazine February 2022

Featuring Syd, alt-J, Foals, Alice Glass, Metronomy and loads more.

Now that January is officially behind us (hurrah!) and we’re safely a month into 2022, we are thrilled to be back and welcoming you to our first new issue of the year. And let us tell you, our first issue of 2022 is set to be a doozy… This month, we’re welcoming the incredible Syd to our cover for the first time, as she puts the finishing touches to her brand new solo album ‘Broken Hearts Club’. We caught up with The Internet frontwoman from her home in LA to retrace her formative steps, delve into the backstory of her forthcoming new album, and discover what other projects will be keeping her busy this year.

Elsewhere in our new issue, we reconvene with longterm DIY faves such as alt-J, Metronomy and Bastille, who are all gearing up to release incredible albums later this month, speak to Alice Glasss about her deeply personal new record ‘PREY//IV’, dive into Shamir’s Baphomet-inspired vision and talk flipping the script with Danish pop superstar MØ.

Plus, we get first word on the new music that’s set to arrive from Sunflower Bean, Foals, Jockstrap and Bloc Party this year, while in our Neu section, we meet brilliant new acts Miso Extra, Lola Young and Folly Group.

Desperate to dive in? Our new February 2022 issue is available to read online right now! And, you can order your very own physical copy of the mag and it’ll come whizzing through your letterbox in the next few days.
