Alabama Shakes announce live return with London date
They’ll play Islington Assembly Hall in February.
Deep-south rockers Alabama Shakes have announced plans to return to the UK for an intimate date in 2015.
With new material in the pipeline, the Athens band will play London’s Islington Assembly Hall on 19th February.
Their previous UK appearance came supporting Bruce Springsteen in 2013 at London’s Olympic Park. Previously, they toured their debut album ‘Boys & Girls’, which landed a top three spot in the UK charts before being nominated for four Grammy Awards.
Tickets for the new date are on sale this Friday, 12th December.
A follow-up to ‘Boys & Girls’ is anticipated for early 2015.
