Alabama Shakes unveil new sci-fi clip for ‘Sound & Color’
The video’s concept was developed by the band’s own Brittany Howard.
Fresh from the release of their new album, Alabama Shakes have showcased the new video for its title track, ‘Sound & Color’.
The clip, which was directed by James Frost (who has worked with the likes of Radiohead and Coldplay), comes based on a concept dreamed up by the band’s frontwoman Brittany Howard, and sees our main protagonist waking up in the midst of an Alien-esque space station with only random flashes of his memories.
The new track gets taken from the band’s second album, which follows their 2012 debut ‘Boys & Girls’ and was co-produced by the band with Blake Mills at Nashville Studio Sound Emporium.
