All Tomorrow’s Parties Schedule Final Events

The British boutique festival will be closing its door for the final time, as it host two last events in Camber Sands later this year.

All Tomorrow’s Parties Schedule Final Events

Sadly, it seems as though the time of All Tomorrow’s Parties is drawing to a close. Today, ATP announced that they would be calling time on the festival, which takes place at Camber Sands on an annual basis.

However, ever an organisation that knows how to go out with a bang, there will be two final events taking place under the ATP guise. Titled ‘End of an Era Parts 1 & 2’, the two festivals will take place over two weekends in November.

With the first event taking place at Camber Sands from the 22nd - 24th November, it sees ATP team up with Spanish festival Primavera Sound, and will feature the likes of Television - performing their 1977 album ‘Marquee Moon’ in full - Thurston Moore’s Chelsea Light Moving, Dinosaur Jr., Dinos Chapman, Les Savy Fav, múm, Oneohtrix Point Never, Hebronix, Mike Watt, Forest Swords, The Haxan Cloak, Demdike Stare, Wolf Eyes, BEAK> and Eraas.

Speaking of their partnership, Fra Soler of Primavera has said: ‘When we first started Primavera Sound, ATP was already running and we were always delighted by their amazing line ups curated by amazing people. Though our festivals are slightly different we always felt there was a lot in common between us. Then we met and it was clear that working together was the following step. ATP stage at Primavera Sound has been an essential part of the event for years now and curating a festival where we´ve been having so many (heavy) parties is a dream come true and one of the nicest things we’ve ever been asked to do.’

The second event will then take place 29th November - 1st December, featuring the return of LOOP, along with The Pop Group, 23 Skidoo, Fennesz, Edan (DJ set), The KVB, Dirty Beaches, Eaux, Hookworms and Thought Forms.

Speaking of their involvement in the final event of ATP, Robert Hampson of LOOP has said, ‘ATP is the only place this could happen and be done well. Who else would offer the chance not only to play but also curate some of the bands alongside Loop on the day. It’s quite special to be able to do this and make it happen. Besides, Barry Hogan has pestered me for so long about this, it would seem rather unfair not to let him have his 5 minutes of fame getting Loop to play again.’

Lots more acts to be confirmed, with tickets available now at the festival’s website.
