Avey Tare and Geologist have released new tracks online for free.

Avey Tare and Geologist of Animal Collective have shared a split single titled ‘New Psycho Actives Vol. 1’. A tweet from the band announced the tracks are released “in honour of snow on the equinox”.
Avery Tare’s single is titled ‘Tape Player Chants for Winter’, while Geologist’s contribution is called ‘Stretching Songs for Spring’ and features vocals from Tickley Feather.
Earlier this month, Panda Bear confirmed on Lauren Laverne’s BBC Radio 6 that Animal Collective are set to record a new album in 2015, the follow-up to their 2012 LP ‘Centipede Hz’.
