Arctic Monkeys, Warpaint, You Me At Six And More For Reading & Leeds 2014
The next bunch of bands for Reading & Leeds 2014 have been announced.
Arctic Monkeys have been announced as the second headliner for Reading & Leeds 2014.
Joining previously announced bill toppers Blink-182, the band will play an ‘exclusive festival headline set in England and Wales’. Other new additions to the bill include Warpaint, You Me At Six, Royal Blood, SBTRKT, The 1975, The Courteeners, Netsky, Annie Mac, Hozier, Architects, Issues, Pusha T and Krept & Konan.
Speaking to NME about Reading & Leeds, Arctic Monkeys drummer Matt Helders said: “We’ve got a lot of history with the festival. It’s the first festival I ever went to – we all went together as kids, with Nick as well. We were 15 or 16 and it was a big deal going to a festival like that on your own”.
Jake Bugg, Metronomy, Of Mice & Men, Wilkinson, Disclosure and I Am Legion have already been announced for this year’s event, taking place between 22nd and 24th August.
