AURORA looks inward on vulnerable new track ‘The Flood’
The Scandipop star’s 2016 single ‘Through The Eyes Of A Child’ was recently spotlighted in Netflix’s hit series Adolescence.

Following on from the recent revival of debut album cut ‘Through The Eyes Of A Child’ (which was used in the closing scene of Netflix’s Adolescence series), Norwegian alt-pop favourite AURORA has now dropped a tender new single entitled ‘The Flood’.
A song about what she calls “the invisible enemy”, ‘The Flood’ is her first new music since the arrival of last year’s ‘What Happened To The Heart?’, and lyrically explores the experience of overwhelm, both internal and external (“I’ve been under pressure all my life and I feel like I’m losing all my fights”, she sings).
Explaining more about the track’s conception, AURORA has shared: “What brings you anger, what brings you worry and sadness. What makes you crawl into yourself instead of meeting the world fully. A song about searching for someone or something to blame, when you know perfectly well that the only solution lies within yourself.”
