BAIO streams debut album ‘The Names’ in full
Vampire Weekend bassist’s first solo effort is out on Friday.
Vampire Weekend bassist Chris Baio is releasing his first solo album as BAIO on Friday (18th September), and the whole thing is streaming online a few days early.
‘The Names’ is being released via Glassnote, and follows the singles ‘Brainwash yyrr Face’, ‘Sister Of Pearl’, ‘Endless Rhythm’ and the title track, which previewed the record.
The album follows his two EPs, 2012’s ‘Sunburn’ and the following year’s ‘Mira’.
Baio is set to play a number of dates in support of the album, including an in-store at London’s Rough Trade East on 28th September, and Liverpool Music Week’s closing party in October.
Stream ‘The Names’ in full via Noisey.
