Brigitte Calls Me Baby unveil plans for sophomore LP 'Irreversible' with new single 'Slumber Party'; announce 2026 tour dates

Brigitte Calls Me Baby are back with another album, ‘Irreversible’ (due out on 13th March via ATO Records), as well as a hot-off-the-press new single entitled ‘Slumber Party’.

It’ll be the Chicago five-piece’s second full-length, coming in the wake of their 2024 debut ‘The Future Is Our Way Out’ - a record that saw them embark on tours across the US, UK, and Europe, and support the likes of Muse and Fontaines DC.

Produced by Yves Rothman and Lawrence Rothman (Blondshell, Yves Tumor), ‘Irreversible”s 11 tracks were written in snatched hours on the road between shows; indeed, according to press materials, it was only when the band debuted ‘Slumber Party’ in San Diego that they realised they might have the makings of a new album on their hands.

An uninhibited, knife-edge offering reminiscent of ’00s indie stalwarts like Franz Ferdinand or The Strokes, the track finds Brigitte Calls Me Baby shedding their previous louche, ’80s-coded approach to consider, as vocalist Wes Leavins explains, “the type of people who isolate and ruminate, to the point where it becomes a chore to leave the home.”

Revisit our 2024 interview with the band and watch the video for ‘Slumber Party’ below.

Plus, Brigitte Calls Me Baby have also confirmed that they’ll be touring ‘Irreversible’ *pretty* extensively, with UK support slots with The Vaccines and headline turns across Europe and North America. Find them at a venue near you on the following dates:
