Chart update: Peace, Drake, Charli XCX score hits

Peace, Drake and Charli XCX are all winners in this week’s chart update, with the former two hitting 12 and 3 in the UK Albums Chart with ‘If You’re Reading This You’re Too Late’ and ‘Happy People’ respectively, and Charli’s ‘Doing It’ reaching 8 in the UK Singles Chart.

There’s also success for Father John Misty, whose ‘I Love You, Honeybear’ is at 14 in the Album Chart, and Beck, who re-enters at 31 with the Grammy-winning ‘Morning Phase’.

The top spots are held by Sam Smith’s ‘In The Lonely Hour’ and Ellie Goulding’s ‘Love Me Like You Do’, while Hozier’s ‘Take Me To Church’ is at 2, swapping places with ‘Uptown Funk’, which is at 3. The Albums Top 5 is completed by Ed Sheeran’s ‘X’ at 2, Kodaline’s ‘Coming Up For Air’ at 4 and George Ezra’s ‘Wanted on Voyage’ at 5.

Monday’s new album releases (16th February) include Charli XCX’s ‘Sucker’, Ibeyi’s self-titled debut, and Marika Hackman’s ‘We Slept At Last’.
