Chvrches unveil new ‘Bury It’ featuring Paramore’s Hayley Williams
It’s a new version of the ‘Every Open Eye’ track.
Chvrches have unveiled a version of ‘Bury It’ featuring a guest spot from Paramore’s Hayley Williams.
The track will feature on a re-released version of last year’s ‘Every Open Eye’ this July.
Hayley has previously joined Chvrches on stage to perform the song, including at this year’s Parahoy.
“It feels like it came about in a very natural way,” said Chvrches’ Lauren Mayberry, speaking on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show this evening, with Hayley agreeing “that’s the coolest part about it.”
Listen to both the song and the interview below.
Meanwhile, adding to all Paramore’s current tease-y teasing, Hayley mentioned she was “doing fun band stuff that’s secretive” in Tennessee right now. Insert that thinking-face emoji right here.
Revisit Chvrches’ September 2015 DIY cover feature here, or how about an interview between Lauren and Hayley from August 2014.
