Daughter celebrate 10th anniversary of ‘Not To Disappear’ with 2016 throwback ‘Not Enough’
The track was originally written a decade ago, but recorded late last year.

London-formed trio Daughter have marked ten years since the release of their beloved second album ‘Not To Disappear’ by dropping ‘Not Enough’, a new single that was first penned and demoed alongside the rest of the LP, but only officially laid down in 2025.
“‘Not Enough’ didn’t find its place on ‘Not To Disappear’, but we always loved it - we even played it live a few times before it went back to being a demo buried on a hard-drive,” the band have said of the nostalgic deep cut. “To mark the album’s 10th anniversary, we wanted to revisit some of the unfinished threads from that era.”
Now spread between Portland, London, and Bristol, the band - made up of Elena Tonra, Igor Haefeli and Remi Aguilella - eventually managed to line up their schedules in November last year, when they headed into the capital’s Total Refreshment studio to finally record ‘Not Enough’. “We live in different places now, and some of our recent work has happened remotely, so this felt like old times,” they reminisce.
Since ‘Not To Disappear’, Daughter have released two studio albums - 2017’s ‘Music From Before The Storm’ and 2023’s ‘Stereo Mind Game’ with Tonra also dropping a solo record under the moniker Ex:Re.
