Dead Pretties show acres of ‘Confidence’ on their new track
They’re also off on a tour of the UK from next month!
After sharing their track ‘Social Experiment’ early this year, London rabble Dead Pretties are back!
They’ve just shared new tune ‘Confidence’, a swaggering slice of rousing rock. As reported by Stereoboard, Jacob Slater said of the track: “The public is being de-intellectualised by certain outlets of the western media, who choose the easy path of reporting on bum implants and racists when they know they have the power to shift the focus of the public eye”.
He continued: “The worrying thing is because the general public on such a regular basis consumes it; people have become addicted to wanting to know more about the Kardashians of the world. That makes these people powerful role models. I’m opposed to the idea that rattling like a near empty tin should be an example of how to live one’s life. People are stupid enough as it is, don’t encourage them”.
From next month, Dead Pretties will be heading around the UK on tour. They’ll kick the run off in Manchester before heading to Newcastle, Leeds, Leicester, Brighton, London and more. Tickets are on sale now.
Earlier in the year we caught up with Dead Pretties to chat why they might be guitar heroes in waiting. Catch up here.
