Confirmed
Foals added to Reeperbahn Festival 2019 line-up
Just Mustard, Sorcha Richardson and Alfie Templeman will also be heading to Hamburg next month.
You may have thought festival season was over, but think again! Reeperbahn 2019 is still on the horizon, and the Hamburg festival is shaping up to be a big contender for our fave of the year.
Taking place from 18th - 21st September, the German festival specialises in championing upcoming talent - much like Brighton’s Great Escape or Austin’s SXSW - with artists playing multiple venues and surprises around every corner. Already with names like Easy Life, Sports Team, Penelope Isles and Squid set to play, the Reeperbahn gang have decided to share the last names of people performing and, wow, it’s worth the wait.
Announcing 28 more names today, those joining the already impressive line-up include Just Mustard, Alfie Templeman, Krush Puppies, Sorcha Richardson, and Happyness.
But that’s not it! Indie legends Foals will also be performing a raucous set destined to rival when they popped up at Great Escape this year and brought, what we called, “sweaty chaos”. The show also comes a few days after this year’s Hyundai Mercury Prize, where the lads are shortlisted for ‘Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost - Part One’, so maybe there’ll be even more cause for celebration? Stay tuned!
