Green Day announce ‘Greatest Hits: God’s Favorite Band’ best of
The collection features a brand new track too, ‘Back in the USA’.

After reminding the summer’s festivals why they’re actually a Pretty Great Band, Green Day have announced details of latest compilation, ‘Greatest Hits: God’s Favorite Band’, set for release on 17th November.
“But..!” we inevitably hear you cry, “haven’t they already released a greatest hits?!” Why yes, yes they have. ‘International Superhits’ came out in 2001, a record that went double platinum.
Of course, that was before ‘American Idiot’, so ‘Greatest Hits: God’s Favorite Band’ unsurprisingly includes cuts from that LP, as well as some from 2009’s ‘21st Century Breakdown’ and ‘Oh Love’ from ‘¡Uno!’ plus a couple from last year’s ‘Revolution Radio’.
Plus they’ve included brand new number ‘Back in the USA’ and ‘Ordinary World’, which features US singer-songwriter Miranda Lambert.
The track listing is:
‘2000 Light Years Away’
‘Longview’
‘Welcome To Paradise’
‘Basket Case’
‘When I Come Around’
‘She’
‘Brain Stew’
‘Hitchin’ a Ride’
‘Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)’

‘American Idiot’
‘Boulevard of Broken Dreams’
