Halsey swung by BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge, and covered The 1975’s ‘The Sound’. Pairing things back into a smoky ballad version, her own take on the ‘I Like It When You Sleep, for You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware of It’ also incorporates snippets of Ke$ha’s ‘Die Young’ - a subtle nod of support towards the pop star.
Something of a cover version expert by now, Halsey previously slayed it with a reworking of Justin Bieber’s ‘Love Yourself’ on Triple J. The 1975 meanwhile are gearing up to release their ridiculously titled second album tomorrow.
