Hinds make telly debut on Colbert

Hinds made their telly debut last night, taking ‘Garden’ to The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

The Madrilenians released their debut album ‘Leave Me Alone’ at the beginning of this year, and they’ve come a long way since playing titchy, low-ceilinged London pubs. These days - and hundreds of gigs later - they’re onto giant things, and our living room screen is just the next step towards world domination.

“You don’t think about it. You think that music in Spain stays in Spain,” Carlotta told DIY in their cover feature last year, speaking about the band’s sudden stratospheric rise, “because that’s what we’ve learned, forever.” Read the whole interview here.

Hinds will play Bilbao BBK Live (7th-9th July) where DIY is an official media partner. Tickets are on sale now. Visit diymag.com/presents for more information.
