Oh Yeah
John Metcalfe and Bat For Lashes share new song ‘Just Let Go’
Natasha Khan appears on the renowned arranger’s forthcoming album ‘The Appearance of Colour’.

Composer and former Durutti Column member John Metcalfe has shared a new track, ‘Just Let Go’. It features Natasha Khan, aka. Bat For Lashes, and is taken from Metcalfe’s forthcoming album ‘The Appearance of Colour’. It’s out on 8th June via Real World.
Metcalfe has previously arranged music for Morrissey, Coldplay, Blur and Simple Minds, and his solo material also has an orchestral slant. Starting out with erratic, nervy strings, and uneasy picked melodies, Khan’s vocals soon burst out of the mix, manipulated and autotuned, and welcoming in more electronic experimentation.
