Listen: Chelsea Light Moving Stream Debut Album

Details of Chelsea Light Moving, Thurston Moore’s latest project, surfaced back in the summer of last year. The band: Moore, in addition to guitarist Keith Wood, bassist Samara Lubelski and drummer John Moloney, have given us tracks ‘Burroughs’, ‘Groovy & Linda’, ‘Frank O’Hara Hit’ and ‘Empires of Time’, and announced they’d be releasing an album this spring back in January.

The record, also titled ‘Chelsea Light Moving’, will be released on 4th March via Matador, and features all four previously-shared songs.

And today, the band are opting to share the album in full, streaming it via NPR.

Chelsea Light Moving begin a North American tour in the coming weeks, beginning at Maxwells in Hoboken, NJ on 2nd March, and continuing - via appearances at SXSW in Austin, TX - back to Cambridge, MA on 7th April.
