Listen: Girl Band Stream ‘The Cha Cha Cha’ Single
Dublin beasts keep it snappy - their new single is 25-seconds long.

You could give the Girl Band single approximately five plays in the length of time it takes for you to read this entire sentence. The song is 25 seconds long. It’s the Dublin group’s new single, and it gives a counter to their otherwise grand, lurching beasts that tend to stampede over the seven-minute mark.
‘It’s a short, hardcore-y song. We have a few of them in the set, ’ says Dara Kiely from the band. ‘For some reason it took three days to record. That’s about eight seconds a day!’
The track traditionally closes one of Girl Band’s now near-famous live sets. ‘We’ve closed with it a few times, it’s always nice and anti-climatic,’ Dara jokes. The song comes out on 19th April for this year’s Record Store Day celebrations. It’ll be printed on an 100 edition flexidisc, meaning copies will be very limited across the country
