‘Chokehold”s title says everything the song needs to. Crippling sadness surveys the scene, with McArdle’s voice piercing the foreground like a drop of sweetness landing in a dark sea.
The song’s taken from a split 7’ single with Brighton group King of Cats. Pre-order here - it’s out via Reeks of Effort on 9th September.
