Listen: Ides Streams ‘Giant’ Track

Alanna McArdle from Joanna Gruesome has shared a new track from her Ides project, following on from ‘Machine’.

‘Giant’ is defined by muffled production, barely-there chords and vocals that veer between being reverbed-out and brutally honest. A closing line ‘Don’t talk to me like that / Don’t talk to me at all’ sums up the mood perfectly.

The track’s seemingly been sitting there on McArdle’s Soundcloud for almost a year, set to private without being unveiled. It’s a free download.
