Listen: Metronomy Unveil ‘Love Letters’ Single
Joseph Mount previews his album of the same name with jazz hands, honkytonk pianos.

This is unexpected. A far cry from Metronomy’s sort of staple sound of minimal, supremely clever synthwork, Joseph Mount’s unveiled a curveball with the title-track from his ‘Love Letters’ record.
The new song - first played on Zane Lowe’s Radio 1 show - contains deranged horn sections, a chorus of jingly jangly vocals, honkytonk pianos (Elton will be jealous), and that’s only the half of it.
It follows on from the subdued but maddeningly catchy ‘I’m Aquarius’. ‘Love Letters’ is out on 10th March via Because Music.
