Listen: MGMT Unveil Brand New Track

MGMT have recently showcased a brand new track entitled ‘Alien Days’, which can be listened to below.

The song was played during the band’s recent set at Festival Estereo Picnic in Colombia on Friday 30th March.

The Italian psychedelic rock band have recently been working on their third album, which looks set to be titled ‘MGMT’, with producer Dave Fridmann at his Tarbox Road Studios in Cassadaga, Florida.

‘Alien Days’ is slated to appear on the album, which will be the follow-up effort to their second record ‘Congratulations’.

According to a recent interview with Intercourse Magazine, Andrew VanWyngarden has said ‘he has written five songs, inspired by R.E.M.’
