Listen: Rhodes Streams New Track, ‘Your Soul’

Hitchin-based newcomer has a new EP - ‘Morning’ - out 12th May.

Emotion isn’t something Rhodes holds back on with ‘Your Soul’, a track taken from his new EP ‘Morning’, out 12th May.

The song’s been recorded alongside Ian Grimble (Daughter) and Tim Bran/Roy Kerr (London Grammar), producers worth their salt in making beautiful ballads sound strange, like they’re from a different planet completely.

Rhodes’ latest achieves exactly this. If it was a stripped down thing, performed by Emeli Sande in Butlins in 10 years time, nobody would bat an eyelid. But as it stands, it’s a gorgeous, echo-drenched giant that could very well steal the year.

Zane Lowe premiered the song last night as his ‘Next Hype’ on Radio 1. Rhodes plays London’s Sebright Arms on 8th, 9th & 10th April. The first two dates are sold out.
