Listen to Diet Cig’s new song ‘Harvard’

Duo’s new track follows debut ‘Scene Sick’, taken from a debut EP.

New York duo Diet Cig have shared a new track following their debut song ’Scene Sick’ from earlier in the month. New track ‘Harvard’ is the closing track on their forthcoming EP ‘Over Easy’, which is released on 24th February by Father/Daughter Records.

‘Harvard’ follows the former track with a song centred on singer Alex Luciano’s ex-boyfriend. Upset by him moving on to date a girl at an Ivy League university, there’s a raw and mocking tone to her lyrics, equal to the subjects of annoyance on ’Scene Sick’. Through a scratchy, ramshackle rhythm it leads to a late night phone call resulting in an expletive-laden voicemail message. It’s not for the faint-hearted and it showcases a youthful rush and buzz about the duo, ahead of the new EP.
