Metronomy, Deap Vally, Jagwar Ma for Secret Garden Party 2017
The theme is ‘Sweet Dreams… Are Made of These?’, apparently.
The first names have been revealed for Secret Garden Party 2017 - with ‘we’re not going on tour’ faves Metronomy headlining the event.
They’re returning to the event for the first time since ‘Summer ’08’ - literally - Joe Mount saying in a press release: “The last time we played Secret Garden Party was in 2008, for one reason or another we don’t remember it very well… I do however have vague memories of Oscar shouting obscenities repeatedly at a saxophonist and by the end of the night they were very close friends, what more can I say? We can’t wait to come back and create further bonds within the horn playing community.”
Deap Vally, Jagwar Ma and Honne are also among the acts confirmed, with Toots & the Maytals another headliner. The full list of acts playing so far is:
