Mount Kimbie unearth James Blake collaboration from 2009
Track gained a rare play on the pair’s first NTS radio show.
This September, the airwaves belong to Mount Kimbie as they take over London station NTS for a monthly residency.
Throughout their stint, they’ll be joined by the likes of Mica Levi and Connan Mockasin, and on their first show they called in a favour from James Blake.
Alongside an interview with Blake, Mount Kimbie aired a rare, untitled collaboration that dates back to 2009. On air, they called the song a “track that was never finished.” Blake added: “When post-dubstep was coined by whatever miserable bastard said that, I made a joke about your music sounding click-clocky, like coconuts.”
