Mumford & Sons Plan New Album This Year
Mumford & Sons plan to finish their second album by the end of the year.

Mumford & Sons plan to finish their second album by the end of the year.
Speaking to Rolling Stone, the band claim six tracks are already written and ready to be road tested before hitting to studio with ‘Sign No More’ producer Markus Dravs.
‘We want to get the second album recorded this year,’ claimed keyboard player Ben Lovett. ‘We’re hoping to have gigged the record in before going to the studio.’
‘Ultimately we’re trying to write better and better songs, and songs that are truer to ourselves. And if we end up writing 10 to 15 songs better than that one, it will just have to sit on the B-side of the tape somewhere.’
The band are set to embark on The Railroad Revival Tour next month, which sees the band take to a train to play shows in California, Texas and Louisiana.
