Mumford & Sons preview new album with ‘Snake Eyes’ live video
Hear the latest take to be lifted from ‘Wilder Mind’.
The electrified, banjo-shunning Mumford & Sons have shared another cut from their upcoming third album, ‘Wilder Mind’.
‘Snake Eyes’ has been shared in the form of a dimly-lit live video, linking up with storming single ‘The Wolf’, which received similar treatment last week.
It also links up with ‘Believe’, the first song to be shared from the LP. ‘Snake Eyes’ is a gradually enveloping piece, giving hints of The National (Mumfords spent time in Aaron Dessner’s New York studio back in 2013) and sticking to the group’s trusted anthemia.
Mumford & Sons’ ‘Wilder Mind’ is out 4th May - pre-order here. Watch the ‘Snake Eyes’ video below.
Mumford & Sons will play Open’er (1st-4th July) and Bilbao BBK Live (9th-11th July), where DIY is an official media partner. Tickets are on sale now. Visit diymag.com/presents for more information.
