My Bloody Valentine Add Second London Show
The band have confirmed a fourth show for their short run in March.
My Bloody Valentine have added a second London date to their short run of tour dates in March.
The band, who announced three UK shows yesterday, will now play two shows at the capital’s Hammersmith Apollo.
The four-piece, who are rumoured to release their new album before 2012 is up, will make a handful of rare live appearances, playing in Glasgow, Manchester and London next March. The dates are as follows.
MARCH
09 Glasgow, Barrowlands
10 Manchester, Apollo
12 London, Hammersmith Apollo
13 London, Hammersmith Apollo
The shows are set to follow on from the remastered releases of their albums, ‘Isn’t Anything’ and ‘Loveless’, which came out earlier this year.
There’s also been a slight update on their forthcoming album release. Speaking to Drowned In Sound, bassist Debbie Googe gave the following update on when we should expect it: ‘It will definitely come out as it’s pretty much finished. I mean, it’s impossible to talk about time with Kevin, but in terms of percentage-wise, he’s got one more track he wants to do then that’s it. Everything else is recorded.”
