My Bloody Valentine ‘Finished’ New Album
Twenty-one years after their last record, Kevin Shield’s band claim the follow up is finally ready.

Over two decades since their last album, 1991’s seminal ‘Loveless’, My Bloody Valentine have announced via their Facebook page that they’ve finally finished mastering the follow up.
Originally slated for release this year (there’s still a few days left, so you never know), frontman Kevin Shields told the NME last month that; ‘I think with this record, people who like us will immediately connect with something. Based on the very, very few people who’ve heard stuff – some engineers, the band, and that’s about it – some people think it’s stranger than ‘Loveless’. I don’t. I feel like it really frees us up, and in the bigger picture it’s 100 per cent necessary.’
The band, who released remastered versions of ‘Isn’t Anything’ and ‘Loveless’ last year, will play the following dates in support of the new record:
MARCH
09 Glasgow, Barrowlands
10 Manchester, Apollo
12 London, Hammersmith Apollo
13 London, Hammersmith Apollo
