of Montreal announce UK & European tour, stream new Boston Bun remix of ‘Bassem Sabry’

of Montreal have announced details of a UK and European tour, taking place this April.

This March sees the release of Kevin Barnes’ new ‘Aureate Gloom’ LP, a gigantic step up from the experimental folk of 2013’s ‘Lousy With Sylvianbriar’. This time, Barnes digs into the furthest realms of psych, delivering arguably his most direct material since 2007’s ‘Hissing Fauna, Are You the Destroyer?’.

That’s one direction - the other is a gritty, grimy undercurrent of a remix delivered by Boston Bun (Ed Banger) for LP highlight ‘Bassem Sabry’. Streaming first on DIY, it’s a jagged kick to the system running in complete parallel to the new album.
