Parakeet stream new ‘Pink Noise’ EP in full
Listen in full to the London fuzz-addicts’ new EP ahead of its Marshall Teller release.
London’s Parakeet release their new EP ‘Pink Noise’ on Marshall Teller Records - right now you can stream the release in advance exclusively on DIY.
A continuation of the fuzz-induced form that’s followed the band (Yuck’s Mariko Doi, The History of Apple Pie’s James Llewellyn Thomas), ‘Pink Noise’ links up with last year’s 2013 EP ‘Shonen Hearts’. It’s also set to precede a debut album, anticipated for early 2015.
“[It was] something we hadn’t planned on,” the band explained to DIY. “The tracks were created amongst album recording sessions - we now see this as a prequel to the album.”
Dive right into this “prequel” below - it’s released on 26th June via Marshall Teller Records.
