POND have announced details of a new album.

Titled ‘Tasmania’, the album will be released on 1st March. It’s the group’s eighth studio record, following 2017’s ‘The Weather’, which it’s stated to be a ‘sister album’ to. It was produced and mixed by Jay Watson’s sometime ‘boss’, Kevin Parker of Tame Impala.

They’ve also shared one of the record’s track’s, ‘Daisy’, complete with video. We’ve already heard ‘Sixteen Days’ and ‘Burnt Out Star’.

The band are set to play this year’s Primavera Sound (where Tame Impala are of course headlining), and French festival We Love Green this summer.
