Premiere: Listen: Sundara Karma Unveil New ‘Cold Heaven’ Single

Reading teens have signed to Chess Club for their debut single, out in March.

Sun-kissed escapism has a new face, with Reading boys Sundara Karma rising up from a promising 2013 to announce their debut single proper, ‘Cold Heaven’.

The track forms part of a debut release on Chess Club Records (Jungle, Swim Deep), coo-ing and waltzing its way through four minutes that practically stamp all over current festival bills and hail this four-piece as headliners in waiting.

All aged 18, the band first emerged with the dreamy ‘Freshbloom’, before apparently having one of their family members receive an ASBO due to the sheer level of noise pouring out of their practice space. Yep. If ‘Cold Heaven’ is any indication, it’ll all be worth it.

DIY’s delighted to have the first play, below. Sundara Karma play The Great Escape and this year’s Dot to Dot Festival - dates below the player. ‘Cold Heaven’ is released on 17th March via Chess Club.
