Rae Morris announces new EP, streams ‘Closer’
With a debut album getting ever ‘Closer’, Rae Morris is preceding it with a new EP.
London songwriter Rae Morris has announced plans to release a new EP, ‘Closer’.
Preceding a debut full-length (initially slated for September of this year but now tentatively due out in January 2015), ‘Closer’ brings together three new tracks plus a remix. The title-track from the release gained its first play on Zane Lowe as a Hottest Record last night (19th August).
‘Closer’ is a suitably serene new cut, bubbling up with luscious synths and careering pianos. Glueing it all together is a slick vocal line that’s as commanding as it is absorbing.
Listen to Rae Morris’ ‘Closer’ below. Pre-order the ‘Closer’ EP, out 20th October, here.
