Rae Morris’ new video for ‘Someone Out There’ is a family affair

It features three generations of Rae’s family and the Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service.

Rae Morris released her latest album ‘Someone Out There’ back in February, and now she’s headed to Blackpool in the video for the title track.

The clip features three generations of Rae’s family (and a lot of very cute dogs), as well as a cast of colourful characters and the Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service. There’s a reason that there’s firefighters in the clip though: Rae’s dad was a firefighter for 30 years and the clip was shot alongside those whom Rae’s known since she was a child.

Speaking of the video, Rae offered: “It was amazing finally getting to make a video in Blackpool. Noel and Gabe came over from New York (where I’d been for ‘Do It’) and I loved showing them around my hometown and helping them document the place that I spent most of my life so far.”

She continued: “This video is full of special moments for me. Playing on the Blackpool Tower Ballroom Wurlitzer after dreaming of it since I was a kid and dancing around the room with my nana are things I’ll never forget. Someone Out There is a reminder that no matter who you are or where you are, there is always someone who loves and cares for you.”

Rae continues her extensive tour of the UK tomorrow in Nottingham, with a few dates left on the run. Tickets are on sale now.
