The first few acts have been confirmed for next year’s Live at Leeds, with the likes of Rat Boy and Circa Waves leading the charge.

The all-dayer will be returning to take over venues across Leeds’ city centre on 30th April 2016, and the organisers have now revealed the first seven artists set to join the line-up.

Joining the Essex newcomer and the Liverpudlian quartet at the festival will be Jess Glynne - whose collaborators Clean Bandit appeared at the event two years ago - along with We Are Scientists, Band of Skulls, Clean Cut Kid and Barns Courtney.

“2016 will be the tenth year of booking Live at Leeds,” lead booker Andy Smith has commented, on the subject of next year’s event, “it feels like a great achievement to have grown what was originally a four venue bill to what it is today. We have seen some great names grace our stages over those ten years and I’m really looking forward to next year and what will hopefully be our biggest event yet, it really feels like we are stepping up another level.”

The 2016 edition of the festival will also be the first year that a new digital programme will be running alongside the music leg. In partnership with Leeds Digital Festival, it’s set to happen in the days leading up to Live At Leeds, from 25th to 29th April.

Tickets for next year’s festival are on sale now.
