The 1975, Foo Fighters, Twenty One Pilots and Post Malone to headline Reading & Leeds 2019
The August blowout returns next year, and these are the first names.
Last week, Reading & Leeds promised us the first names for next year’s August blowout, and now they’re here: The 1975, Foo Fighters, Twenty One Pilots and Post Malone will headline the August bank holiday weekender!
The bands will be joined by Bastille, The Distillers, Pale Waves, Sundara Karma and more at next year’s fests, which run between 23rd-25th August at Little John’s Farm in Reading and Bramham Park in Leeds.
This year’s festivals saw Fall Out Boy, Kendrick Lamar, Panic! At The Disco and Kings of Leon top the bill, joined by the likes of Sigrid, Brockhampton, The Magic Gang and more.
The 1975 have been announced for a handful of 2018 festivals including Benicassim and Mad Cool, with their new album ‘A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships’ out next week.
In our five star review of the record, we called it “a bombastic, immaculately put together portrait of modern life” - read the review in full here.
Foo Fighters, meanwhile, announced a new run of European shows last week, to which Reading & Leeds are now of course added.
Reading & Leeds 2019 takes place on 23rd-25th August - view the first list of names below.
