Riot Fest announces 2016 bill, featuring Sleater-Kinney, Sleigh Bells and more
The festival takes place in Colorado in September.
The first ‘proper’ wave of bands for this year’s Riot Fest has been announced, following last week’s revelation that the original Misfits would be reuniting to headline the event.
Taking place in Colorado as ‘Riot Fest and Rodeo’ between 2nd - 4th September, and Chicago as ‘Riot Fest and Carnival’ between 16th - 18th, the line-up features some acts across both sites - Death Cab For Cutie, Deftones, White Lung, Creeper, Descendents, Fucked Up, Frnkiero andthe cellabration and Brand New included - and others on just one site.
Sleater-Kinney, Sleigh Bells and Diet Cig are among those only in Colorado, while Morrissey, Refused, Death Grips, The Dillinger Escape Plan and Jimmy Eat World are in Chicago.
There are still a few acts yet to be named, as the posters below show.
